Dear Utopia ISD Community,
Due to a recent health issue I will be leaving the Interim Superintendent position at Utopia ISD. My last day in the district will be November 22nd. Saul Hinojosa will be the new UISD Interim Superintendent starting December 2nd. Saul retired after being Superintendent of Somerset ISD for 15 years. He has recently been an Executive Coach/Mentor to new superintendents in Texas. Saul has some experience helping with superintendent searches.
I know you will show the same support to Saul that you have shown me here at UISD. I already feel like I'm part of the UISD family. This is a great place to be. Thank you for the positive experience I've had in the short time as the district leader. UISD has the best staff, students, and community.
