In an overabundance of caution Utopia ISD will be closed on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Utopia ISD will resume classes on Thursday, Feb. 2.

In the event school must be cancelled or delayed due to inclement weather, public notifications will be sent through the Utopia ISD Website, Utopia ISD Facebook page, and the Utopia text, email, and voice call notification system. Due to the potential for wintery weather, Rocksprings ISD has cancelled the JH basketball game scheduled for this evening. The game will not be rescheduled.
JH District Basketball Tournament is Saturday, Feb 4th in Leakey. Boys first game is at 8:30am in the New Gym. Girls first game is at 8:30am in the Old Gym. Click the link to view the girls schedule:

Parents, guardians, family members, teachers, or community members may nominate a child for testing into the Utopia ISD Gifted and Talented Program at any time. Students who qualify for the program receive regular GT services in the upcoming school year. If you would like to nominate a child to be screened for our GT program, please request a form from akay@utopiaisd.net and complete the nomination survey.
Utopia ISD's annual holiday lunch with family members in the cafeteria will be Thursday December 8th. More information will be sent home with students and posted on the website after Thanksgiving break.
